The computer only has 1GB of RAM so I allocated 512MB to the virtual OS, so it was a bit slow, but that is the computer not the OS. The interface is well, chromium (or chrome if you like) so even a child could use it. It is initially targeted for netbooks, but I’m sure it could be used anywhere eventually. It was cool to look at and I may try a native install if I get a chance to partition my drive.

I have been contracted to get a shopping website off the ground. I am initially looking at zen-cart designs. I have to figure out how to incorporate paypal into the mix.

Just installed chromium on Ubuntu 9.04 to test google wave. Wanted to see if
wave depended on flash. But, now chromium supports flash! Last time I installed chromium over the summer maybe
2 or 3 months ago chromium had no flash support?
Works now. Chromium looks and feels good, but it is not cooperating with wordpress. Everytime I go to make a new post in the admin panel it keeps bringing me back to the posts lists?
After further use of chromium, it appears it is not wordpress that is upsetting chromium it is every text field. When you hit backspace in a text field it interprets it as the back button on the browser. Even in a google search??????
