I installed windows seven to a hard drive that already had GNU/Ubuntu/Linux on it.  Windows booted and worked, but linux and grub did not.  I reconfigured grub and then just Ubuntu worked.

When booting a gparted disk I could still see the windows install just not boot it.

So after about 22 google searches and adjustments on grub I decided to try to use the windows seven disk to try to rescue the win7 install.  I fully expected that best case scenario would be that I could boot win7, but not Linux.

I was wrong!!  Grub is still there.  I can boot Ubuntu    A N D    Windows 7!!!   I am astounded!  It works.

I thought this was fun! Taken with Blackberry touch screen celly 3.1 megapixel camera .. pretty sweet.

Reinstalled grub, but now windows seven is not an option. But my Ubuntu and files still exist and are bootable :). Will have to work on getting windows 7 to boot.

windows on intel based iMac:

It runs really poorly, but it boots and works. I installed google chrome and openoffice.

Downloading gparted, to resize HD partitions; hopefully without destroying Ubuntu and all my stuff.

Gonna try windoze seven, let’s have a go shall we?

I found this on a quick internet search of myself (yes I search myself);

this is a lab I did at STCC, and had some insight as to force applied in a spring problem
where a force is applied for some time, and then turned off. What is equilibrium while the external force is on? What happens when the force is shut off? What is the equilibrium after some time t? here is the link:
